ABOUT

Dr. Deanna Marie Hall is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, educator, author, and national voice for women reclaiming their lives after trauma. Founder of Brave Again, she empowers women to shed silence and shame, reclaim their identity, and rise with unshakable strength.

Her story is one of profound resilience: born into a military family shaped by service and sacrifice, Dr. Hall survived military sexual trauma, endured an emotionally abusive marriage, and transformed her pain into purpose. Rising to the rank of Sergeant in the Marine Corps, she earned multiple commendations while confronting the hidden battles faced by women in uniform. After her service, she built a 25-year teaching career across middle and high schools, correctional facilities, and international classrooms, always creating safe spaces where people could believe in themselves again.

Leaving her marriage became a turning point that ignited Brave Again, her movement and platform dedicated to helping women heal, rise, and live fully. Through keynote speeches, workshops, her podcast The 5 O’s Women Carry, and her upcoming book Brave Again: Permission to Heal, Dr. Hall offers women practical tools and a powerful reminder: We all face battlefields some are just invisible.

Currently serving as Secretary of the Florida Women Veterans Advisory Council and a lifelong member of the American Legion and its Auxiliary, she is a tireless advocate for accurate representation and tailored support for women veterans. Recognized by Marquis Who’s Who of Professional Women, Dr. Hall is known not only for her leadership, but for her authenticity, compassion, and ability to speak truth that awakens and heals.
